Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using The Happy Hunt mobile application (the "App") operated by The Happy Hunt ("we", "our", or "us").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old (or the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction) to use the App. The App provides information about establishments that serve alcohol; it does not encourage or facilitate underage drinking.
3. Use of the App
3.1 Account
You may use the App as a guest, or create a free account for additional features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3.2 Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Submit false, misleading, or spam content
- Impersonate another person or business
- Submit content containing slurs, harassment, or hate speech
- Attempt to bypass security or rate limits
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
- Use the App to interfere with or disrupt its functionality
4. User Content
The App lets you submit information about venues and happy hours, including names, addresses, deals, photos, and verification reports. By submitting content, you:
- Confirm the content is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- Grant The Happy Hunt a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and modify the content as part of the App
- Confirm you have the right to submit any photos you upload
- Agree not to submit illegal, defamatory, offensive, or inappropriate content
We may review, edit, reject, or remove any submitted content. We may restrict your ability to submit if we determine your submissions are inaccurate or abusive.
5. Accuracy of Information
The Happy Hunt is a community-driven app. Happy hour times, deals, and venue details may change without notice. We make no guarantees about the accuracy or availability of any venue or deal. Please verify with the venue directly before relying on information shown in the App.
Establishments listed in the App have not endorsed or sponsored their inclusion unless explicitly noted.
6. Premium Features and Subscriptions
6.1 Subscriptions
The App may offer optional paid subscriptions ("Pro") for premium features. Subscription management is facilitated through RevenueCat and is subject to the terms of the applicable app store.
6.2 Payment and Auto-Renewal
Subscription fees are charged to your payment method on file. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Prices may vary by region.
6.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
6.4 Refunds
Refund requests are handled according to the policies of the app store through which you made the purchase.
7. Drink Responsibly
The App provides information to help adults find dining and drinking establishments. We encourage responsible consumption and never endorse drinking and driving. Please make safe choices and know your limits.
8. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by The Happy Hunt and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted operation, accuracy of data, or that the App will meet your specific needs.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Happy Hunt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we believe is harmful to other users.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide notice through the App. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
