1 March - Spring Begins
Meteorological Spring always begins on 1 March and ends on 31 May.
There are three benchmarks for spring in March; the Meteorological, Astronomical and Neopgan.
As new life comes bursting through nature the energy rises and so we are encouraged to emerge from our own darkness and the caves that have kept us safe during winter.

We move from darkness into light. To start our annual journeys of discovery and growth.
We have rested and now we can 'spring' into whatever our next step is. It could be action, or it could be discovery, growth or cleansing. There is only what is right for you.
After the long winter months taking some time for reflection and meditation can be a lovely way to ease yourself into the higher energy of Spring. So, grab your journal or some paper and something to write with. There is also a yoga practice for you. Take what you wish and feels right for you.
Find somewhere comfortable and as free from distractions as possible. Take a few breaths and close your eyes, if it is safe to do so.
Consider....Where would you like to experience expansion?
Is there anything you need to 'put to bed' from winter that might get in your way?
How can you 'put it to bed'?
What are you going to do? What resources might you need?
Take a walk outside. Gather something from nature that reflects the new season to bring into your home. Flowers, draw a picture of something you saw, print a photo from your phone. Put it on your altar or mantle or somewhere around your home you will see it often.
