Delete Your Account

You can delete your account and all associated personal data at any time.

In-App

The easiest way to delete your account:

1. Open The Happy Hunt on your device
2. Go to Profile → Settings
3. Scroll to the Account section
4. Tap "Delete account" and confirm

Your account and personal data will be removed within 30 days.

By Email

If you can't access the app, email us from the address associated with your account:

support@thehappyhunt.com

Include "Delete My Account" in the subject line. We'll process the request within 7 business days.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account:

1. Your account credentials (email, password)
2. Your favorites and saved crawls
3. Your display name and preferences
4. Your submission history (anonymized but kept if approved venues remain in the app)
5. Any photos you uploaded

Some data may be retained where required by law, but it will no longer be associated with your identity.

What Stays Public

Approved venues you submitted remain in the app as community content, but are no longer attributed to you. This keeps the app useful for other users.
