So many hopes and dreams began manifesting when I began practicing yoga. A coincidence? I think not! I believe that you too can break through your barriers, and clear the way for more positive energy and abundance to flow into your life. One thing yoga has taught me is that It is an act of self-love to sit with your pain and address it with honesty. It is empowering. It is healing. In my short video I want to share with you one of my favourite Yoga Sutras that discusses this subject.... What can you do to spring clean some of your mental cobwebs away? What thoughts are you allowing to cause you suffering? Are you being selfish or miserable and if yes – how and when? Are you able to bring happiness to others? Or can you selfishly refuse to disturb your own peace? Good Luck! Charlotte P.S - The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali (tr. Swami Satchidananda) can be purchased at any good yoga book shop...or Amazon - the ISBN of my copy is 9780932040381 . I ordered mine from www.yogamatters.com

I adored your insight that "It is an act of self-love to sit with your pain and address it with honest integrity". Too many times we shy away from it, smother it, or ignore it all together and yet, so often, it's simply a signpost showing the way to stuff we need to handle.

I'm really glad I found the time to check out this blog post, even if it is days later! I soooo hear you on the breaking down barriers and feeling ever happier bit. Years ago when I just started out, I heard Jim Rohn saying that the more I'll grow, the bigger the challenges I'd face. It didn't sound very reassuring, but the thing is that because *I* grow the challenges don't seem any bigger - and the payoff from facing and overcoming them is so much better!
