This time of year can throw a lot of issues up cant it? Family, friends, work. Everyone wants a slice of us over the winter festivities. How do we juggle everything? And how do we manage to retain our sense of value, even if there is no-one who wants a slice of us?

The word Mudra "literally means "gesture"; physical, mental and psychic attitude which expresses and channelizes cosmic energy within the mind and body." So a mudra can be any movement or posture. Have you ever been in a yoga class and wondered why the teacher says "namaste" at the end? What does it really mean, and why do we do it?
Nature is boss. I have made three apple crumbles in the last three days (on top of numerous pies over the last few weeks), and I still have plenty of windfall apples to get through. Until I run out all family and friends who cross my path will be given an apple x,y, or z and asked to return the dish!

We only need look at anyone ‘successful’ in their field to see the truth in this quote. From athletes, to nuns, we can see that dedicating our energy towards an activity we believe in can reap rewards. Rewards are not always necessarily medals, fame, and a good seat in the next life.
